International Diploma in International Trade and Maritime Studies international trade

To meet the demands of the commercial world CCL has devised a combination of courses to enable students to qualify in key aspects of International Trade, Exporting, Importing and Shipping. By combining these skills sets  students will gain expertise otherwise only available on much longer courses. Moreover, students will obtain certification for each of the two courses taken.

The objective of these courses is to enable students to become qualified in areas which will enable them to obtain employment in Export, Import and Shipping companies.

Entry Qualifications
Students must normally be aged 18 years or over.
They must possess four GCSE's or their equivalent qualification including English and Maths at grade C or above, or a BTEC first Diploma, plus at least one GCE A level and a level of English language equivalent to B2 of the CEFR - 5.5 IELTS with a minimum of 5.0 in all sections. Mature students (over 21 years of age) may be exempt from some of the above requirements on grounds of experience but where English is not the first language students must provide recent certification of having reached at least IELTS 5.5 as stated above..

Duration of course
There is more than one start per year and there is built in flexibility so when there is a demand, we can offer a bespoke programme to suit requirements of the student. Scheduled start date are normally in September, January and April.

Syllabus
The International Diploma in International Trade and Maritime Management is made up of two selected courses and students may pix and mix the subjects to suit their needs.

1. BTEC Level 4 Professional Diploma in International Trade
2. BTEC Professional Certificate in Maritime Management
